Purchase of Specified Difficult Recovery Claims

A scheme for purchasing specified difficult recovery claims has been established by the Revised Deposit Insurance Act enacted on May 13, 2011.  This has been enabled the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan (DICJ) to purchase specified difficult recovery claims under the scheme.  In accordance with enforcement of the Act and relevant cabinet orders in respect of the scheme on October 29, 2011, the DICJ publishes a guideline for purchase of specified difficult recovery claims.
