The Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan (DICJ) agreed on an MOU with the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) for the purpose of cooperation between the two organizations on April 24, 2014. The MOU was signed by Masanori Tanabe, Governor of the DICJ, and Ms. Michèle Bourque, President and Chief Executive Officer of the CDIC, who visited Japan to participate in the 2014 IADI APRC International Conference.

This MOU promotes mutual cooperation between the two organizations, including sharing experiences and information on deposit insurance and bank resolution and timely exchange of visits.
